State Certified Drug and Alcohol Assessments

WHY DO I NEED A DUI/ALCOHOL & DRUG ASSESSMENT?
You have been referred for this assessment because you have received a DUI, or other substance-related legal charge and/or are seeking drivers license reinstatement.

STEPS FOR LICENSE REINSTATEMENT:
Shortly after your arrest you will receive a letter from the Department of Public Safety that includes the amount of your reinstatement fee, the Date that you are eligible to reinstate your license, and the Instructions on how to obtain an Alcohol & Drug Assessment.
You will need to call us at (918) 764-9098 to schedule an appointment for an Alcohol & Drug Assessment.

WHAT IS A DUI/ALCOHOL & DRUG ASSESSMENT?

The ADSAC DUI/Alcohol & Drug Assessment consists of a face-to-face clinical interview, using 3 approved evaluation questionnaire instruments. This is not a "pass or fail" process -- there are no right or wrong answers. It is important that you are open and honest in your answers.

The Evaluator will be assessing the nature and severity of your problems in order to recommend a service or treatment level to help you avoid future problems with substances.

The Assessment will take approximately 2 hours. Please be sure to bring reading glasses or other assistive devices with you if you need them.

The cost of the assessment is $175.00. This is payable in cash at the time of your appointment. (This fee is set by the State of Oklahoma and is the same at all agencies)

AFTER THE ASSESSMENT:

The results of this assessment will determine the Level of Treatment or Education services that you will be required to complete in order to satisfy the Court or the Department of Public Safety for reinstatement of driving privileges. This agency will provide you with Referrals for your level of recommended Treatment or Education Services. (Usually, you will be required to complete either a 10-hour or 24-hour ADSAC/DUI School, and sometimes a Victim Impact Panel. Some other treatment may also be recommended. The cost of these services will vary depending on where you choose to go.)

After you complete and pay for all the recommended services, you will return here (with proof of completion). At that time, a Certificate of Completion will be issued to you. The Certificate will include an official Seal and a Red Stamp which indicates the date that all your requirements were satisfied. You will then take this original Certificate (keep a copy for your own records!), along with your license reinstatement fee in money order made out to the Department of Public Safety (DPS).
